When the king of hip-hop sits down with one of the culture's founding fathers, it's an event. Today we the people were blessed with a nearly one-hour Kendrick Lamar interview with the co-founder of Def Jam Records (among other things) Rick Rubin. Rick Rubin is the big homie to people like Kanye West, Jay Z, Run DMC, LL Cool J, and Adele (yes we mean that - look it up). Rubin knows hip-hop like Alexander Graham Bell knows the telephone - he built this shit bruh.
Kendrick is on the cover of the most recent issue of GQ Style, and they had the brilliant idea to sit these two visionaries down for the world to watch. In the interview, Kendrick touches on his admiration for Eminem, his creative process, and how he got put on to jazz by the homie Terrace Martin.
